Hello Friends,

 

After teaching middle school for several years, I realized there was a huge gap between what teachers expected parents to do to support classroom instruction, and what parents were emotionally equipped to do to support their children.  Being a parent is the hardest job on earth, yet it has the least instructions and most criticism.  Based on what I have researched and experienced in my interactions with other parents, I've concluded that parent's need access to more parenting strategies and tools to equip them to be the best parents possible.

With that in mind, I founded Parental Empowerment Institute.  Parents of all backgrounds are welcome here, as we place emphasis on creating a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere.   Join us in our effort to make the world a better place, one parent at a time.
